My First Quilt

This is the first quilt I made - a baby quilt for my son. I don't think I can make another one in some time. The son is more active these days and I am busy with office work.

This quilt is far far from perfect, but I am happy that I completed it since I was literally sewing like a mad woman. There are umpteen mistakes and I didn't even bother taking out stitches to correct them. All I wanted was to finish this one so that I can cover my son during the winter.

I should add that this quilt is used more by my daughter who insisted on being covered by this one. This is such an amusing thing considering that she refuses to lie under a blanket, how much ever cold it is !
