Sewing a Birthday Dress - LLK Oxford Skirt & Blouse

 

I have to say that it was a dream come true moment for me when I fnished this outfit for my daughter for her third birthday. Those gathers were tedious, yet fun to make. I think there is 4 meters of gathers in this tiny skirt.

This was my third or fourth attempt to make a Peter Pan collar and it was challenging yet, fulfilling indeed.

I used a PDF Sewing pattern for making this dress and it is the Oxford Blouse and Oxford Skirt by the Little Lizard King Pattern Company. I have fallen in love with most of the patterns of the Little Lizard King company and have made a good collection of them indeed. Clear instructions and a supportive FB group are great things to hold your hands when you conquer one challenge at a time!
